Description
The 2008 Budweiser Holiday Stein celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the world-renowned Budweiser Clydesdales. The tradition began in 1933 when August A. Busch Jr. presented his father with a team of Clydesdales pulling the famous red Budweiser beer wagon to celebrate the end of Prohibition. That year the Clydesdales ceremoniously delivered the first case of post-Prohibition Budweiser beer to the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. This year’s stein depicts both the history and the current majesty of the Budweiser Clydesdales in a scene representative of past and present. The 2008 Budweiser Holiday Stein is artfully illustrated by renowned artist Lonnie Busch and handcrafted by Ceramarte of Brazil. Box included.
